It is with deep regret that the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department announces the passing of Tony Questo. Mr. Questo, a lifelong resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, was a 47-year member of Uniontown Hose Co. No. 2. His obituary follows below:
Antonio “Tony” J. Questo, 70, a lifelong resident of Hastings-on-Hudson, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017. Born on November 15, 1946, Tony was the son of the late Antonio and Frances Questo in Hastings-on-Hudson, where he was raised and educated. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years. Tony married his wife Jacqueline Ann Buckley on February 5, 1971 at St. Denis Church in Yonkers. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Union and worked and retired from Refined Sugars. Tony was a dedicated member of the Hastings-on-Hudson Volunteer Fire Department as part of the Uniontown Hose Co. #2 for over 40 years. He loved his gardening and was an old movie buff.
Tony was predeceased by his loving daughter Florence Jane. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline A. Buckley Questo and loving aunts Miriam Mazzara and Helen Burke, cousins, nieces and nephews.
