On Friday, May 31st, the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department participated in the annual Pleasantville Fire Department Parade. Engine 44 (Protection) and Ladder 22 (Hook & Ladder) participated along with 20 members of the department. The weather was great, there were large crowds and the bands were in tune amid tough competition. Our department received two awards - Best Overall Engine for Engine 44 (Protection) and Second Best Appearing Department with 16-25 Firefighters marching.
