The Hastings Fire and Police Departments are bringing smiles to our residents who are celebrating a birthday but can not have a traditional birthday celebration because of the current social distancing regulations. Every Saturday between 2PM and 3PM we drive by residents homes with Fire, EMS and Police vehicles to bring the party to them. The reactions of joy and appreciation we receive are also uplifting to our members who are on the front lines of this crisis. The applause we receive while while doing the birthday parades is a reminder of the overwhelming support our residents have for our Fire/EMS and Police.
