On August 4th During Tropical Storm Isaias while wrapping up at a fire on South Side Ave at the Train Station Hastings received a report of an electrical fire on Euclid Ave. Hastings FD Units along with units from the Dobbs Ferry FD that were just leaving the Train Station fire responded to the call. Firefighters used thermal imaging cameras that pick up heat signatures to locate the source. It turned out to be an electrical issue that was isolated and power to that area of the residents was cut off. We would like to thank the Dobbs Ferry Fire Department for their continued assistance.
