Friday night the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department responded to a car fire on the Saw Mill River Parkway north of the Ravinsdale bridge. Engine 45 was first on scene and began fire suppression. Once the traffic was stopped by the Police Engine 46 responded southbound in the northbound lane and arrived just as E45 uses the last of its tank water. E46 used foam to finish off the smoldering fire. The drive was not injured . Nice job by all involved.
