| Saturday December 5th the Ardsley Fire Department had a stubborn working structure fire (10-75) in an apartment building and requested mutual aid from the surrounding fire departments. Hastings Ladder 22, Car 2182 & 2183 responded to the scene and assisted with fire suppression along search and rescue operations. As the fire progressed a second alarm was transmitted and Hastings Engine 45 with Car 2184 responded to Ardsley Fire Headquarters to cover the Village in case there were any other fire calls. This was a great fire stop under the direction of I.C. Ardsley Chief PJ Murray and his Assistant Chiefs. This is an example of the continued cooperation among the local Fire Departments in Battalion 14 and 60 Control (WCDES) working together to keep our residents safe. |
