The Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department wants to extend our deepest condolences to the Lloyd family and members of the Spring Valley FD for the loss of their member Firefighter Jared Lloyd a true hero. There is nothing that can bring him back but his heroism will never be forgotten. Without hesitation he put his own life in harms way to rescue residents trapped inside of a burning assisted living facility sacrificing his own life to save others.
