This February Three members of the Hastings-on Hudson Fire department traveled 4 hours to the NY State Fire Training Center in Montour Falls to become State certified Ice/Cold water rescue technicians. They successfully completed the course over a weekend and now will supplement our departments Ice/Cold water rescue team. While these members were upstate getting certified other members of our team were training with the Irvington FD Ice/Cold Water Rescue team.
The members of our all volunteer fire department continue to dedicate their time to maintain our continued readiness to come to the aid of our residents.
