Members of the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department participated in the annual Village Spring Thing on April 23, 2023. Although the weather looked a bit rainy in the morning, the afternoon skies cleared up and it was a beautiful day in the downtown! Members of the fire department hosted a cookout for residents and visitors, while Fire Prevention Officer Julie McKinnon and Deputy Chief Bob Russak manned a table distributing information on lithium ion batteries. Members of the Ambulance Corps were also on hand to provide first aid and recruit new volunteers.
