The Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department participated in this year's Spring Thing event on Warburton Avenue on Sunday, May 19th. Warburton Avenue was closed to traffic to allow residents and others from the surrounding area the chance to enjoy the beautiful afternoon.

The fire department heated up the grills and served hamburgers, hot dogs and kebabs. Engine 44 and Engine 46 were out on Warburton Avenue for kids to check out and the Ambulance Corps had their "Stop the Bleed" demo station set up, along with recruitment pamphlets. The department would like to thank all those who purchased food, made donations in the boot and stopped at the demo station!
