On Friday, July 2nd, the Hastings-on-Hudson Fire Department participated in the annual Mamaroneck Fire Department Parade. Members of Uniontown and Protection Engine Companies marched along with Engine 45 competing against other departments from New York and Connecticut. The crowds were large, the weather was hot and the competition was tough. Engine 45 the oldest engine in our fleet won the trophy for best engine over 10 years old. Congratulations to the members that put in a lot of time and effort preparing the apparatus for the competition.
