The Hastings Fire Department lined up on the Jackson Road at the NYS Thruway over pass on February 27th to pay a final tribute to FDNY Firefighter Daniel Foley of Rescue 3 who died from a 9/11 (WTC) exposure related illness. His brother Thomas also a member of the FDNY died in September 11, 2001 attack. Fire Departments through out the county lined the overpasses and route to as a sign of respect for the sacrifices the Foley family have made as result of the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11th 2001.
