A member of the Hastings Fire Department donated a training prop to the department that can be used for SCBA mask confidence drills or search and rescue training. The prop enables us to turn any open space such as the engine room of the fire house into a maze simulating an apartment. The maze can be changed so members can not memorize the layout making it more realistic. Using our smoke machine the area can be filled with water based simulated smoke making it more realistic. Our all volunteer fire department is constantly training to better protect the residents of the village,
